TJI provides education, advocacy, and support programs to improve the well-being of affected children and families. We conduct community awareness campaigns, help connect families to health care resources, offer counseling and mentorship, and advocate for better policies to ensure equitable access to diagnosis and treatment.
Inherited Genetic Diseases (IGDs) are health conditions caused by mutations or changes in genes that can be passed from parents to their children. These genetic changes can affect how the body functions and may lead to serious medical conditions such as Sickle Cell Disease, Thalassemia, Down Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis, and Hemophilia.
The Jason Initiative (TJI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families affected by Inherited Genetic Diseases (IGDs). We focus on awareness, education, advocacy, and access to quality health care, empowering families to live productive and fulfilling lives.
The Jason Initiative (TJI) is funded through donations, grants, and partnerships with individuals, organizations, the Jason’s family and institutions that share our vision. Every contribution helps us expand access to health care, support families, and create awareness about Inherited Genetic Diseases. We are committed to transparency and accountability in how every donation is used to impact lives.
